Grace, precision, power -- Canadian Snowbirds PHOTOS
The Canadian Snowbirds entertained -- and inspired -- crowds at the Tillsonburg Regional Airport Saturday and Sunday, hosted by the Ontario South Coast Airshow.
Transportation to both shows went smoothly with a fleet of shuttle buses from Tillsonburg enhancing the limited parking at the airport. Weather conditions were near perfect both days.
Nine CT-114 Tutors flew in and out of formation for nearly 45 minutes, with music and narration, living up to their world-famous reputation for grace, precision and power.
The Snowbirds last flew at the Tillsonburg Regional Airport, located north of TIllsonburg in South-West Oxford Township, in August 2012.
Since arriving in Tillsonburg last Tuesday after their last show in Rockford, Illinois, the Snowbirds have been training for the weekend shows, and visiting in town, including Turtlefest. The Snowbirds flew out Monday morning for their next show in La Baie, Quebec.
