Robbery at Tillsonburg CIBC

A man made off with a quantity of cash in a robbery at CIBC in the Tillsonburg Town Centre late Friday afternoon.
Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the report of a robbery Friday at the CIBC Bank located on Broadway at about 5:35 p.m.
A lone male entered the bank shortly after 5:30 p.m. and approached the female teller. He then threatened the teller, indicating he had a weapon.
After receiving the money, the man fled the area on foot.
Members of the OPP Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team assisted with a search of the area and Forensic Identification Officers attended to examine the scene.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect described as follows:
Male, approximately 25-35 years old
Wearing a grey three-quarter length wool coat and a black and red checkered winter hat with ear flaps
