Justin Bieber is begging fellow Canadian Seth Rogen to make fun of him at his televised celebrity roast.
The pop star, who just turned 21, created the hashtag #WeWantSeth and tweeted at Rogen telling him to check his voice mail.
Bieber will be the special guest/target of a Comedy Central celebrity roast on March 30, where various celebrities will have a chance to make jokes at the singer’s expense. Kevin Hart is confirmed as the host.
“Come on man. Check your voicemail,” Bieber tweeted. “ I took it like a man as you blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I'm a man. Roast me!"
This tweet is in reference to the time Rogen called him a “piece of s---“ on Twitter and continued to insult him on the Howard Stern radio show, claiming Bieber brushed him off backstage at a German talk show.
Rogen said he was told by Bieber's people the singer wanted to meet him.
"He's a good example of someone you meet, who you think you're going to hate, and then you get to hate him as much as you thought. You meet him, and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you hope he will be," Rogen told Stern.
But the messy history between the two hasn’t stopped Bieber from trying to book the comedian on the special . He even poked fun at Rogen’s critically-panned movie “The Interview” to get his attention.
“I'm still your biggest fan. Even after 'The Interview,"' he wrote. "That's dedication. Roast me!"
