Mariah Carey wants $50 million 'inconvenience fee' from ex-fiancee

Mariah Carey is demanding a $50 million "inconvenience fee" from ex-fiancee James Packer, according to a report from ETOnline.com.

A source tells the website the couple had discussed a pre-nup with a $50 million divorce settlement, but the singer and Australian businessman never signed any documents. Despite also never walking down the aisle, Carey still feels entitled to that money as an "inconvenience fee."

"He moved her across the country and relocated her and her kids. He made promises to her that weren't fulfilled," the source tells ETOnline, adding that Carey also wants to keep her $10 million engagement ring and wants Packer to buy her a home in the Kardashian-preferred L.A.-suburb of Calabasas.

However, another source tells ET the claims are bogus, saying "this whole $50 million thing and other noise is a distraction to try and rationalize what she is asking for."

Carey was in Toronto on Thursday night to perform at the unveiling of the Hudson's Bay holiday-themed window. She reportedly made $1 million for singing two songs at the event.
