Crash sends woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries in Highway 59 crash

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - 

OPP are hoping someone will have some information about a single-vehicle crash that has sent an adult female driver to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 59 when it veered off the road and entered the east ditch, travelled across a driveway and struck a tree on the front lawn of a residence.

The collision occurred on Highway 59 between Maple Dell Road and Vanash Road in Norwich Township.

The crash was reported at 7:30 a.m. and OPP said they have no witnesses to the collision.

The vehicle is a light blue Pontiac four-door car.

The collision was discovered by the homeowners at 7:30 a.m. and emergency services were contacted.

OPP said they have canvassed the area for information with negative results and are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
