OPP looking for hit and run vehicle after Springford collision Thursday morning
Oxford County OPP are looking for a damaged Dodge car after a vehicle failed to remain at the site of a collision west of Springford Thursday morning.
On Thursday, Nov. 2, just after 8 a.m., OPP were called to the collision on Otterville Road, which occurred shortly before police arrived.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a vehicle was travelling eastbound on Otterville Road, when the driver left the roadway and struck a hydro guide wire which caused the hydro pole to break. The vehicle then backed up onto the roadway and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Otterville Road.
The vehicle is described as a newer model, black, four-door Dodge Charger, with tinted windows, and will have front end damage.
