A resident in Windham, northwest of Simcoe, reported the grisly discovery to the OPP earlier this week.

Police believe the deer was left overnight on Tuesday.

Investigators are urging the public to report any tips to police at 1-888-310-1122 or to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry at 519-773-9241.
