Therapy dog to visit Norwich Library Feb. 15

A visit from Hershey the therapy dog and his person, Ann, is one of the event scheduled at the Norwich Library for February.

On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Ann and Hershey will share the story of what they do to help people and share a story at this family event. All are welcome.

Other February events include Knit 1 Yack 3: Every Tuesday from 12:30-2 p.m. Inviting all crafters to bring your projects socialize in a comfy and inviting environment by the fireplace. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available for purchase.

Early On: Every Friday from 9:30-11 a.m., children ages 0-6 with their caregiver are invited to play and learn in a friendly group setting.

Read with Me: Free reading assistance for school aged kids who read to our volunteer Wednesday or Thursday. Space is available but limited.

VON SMART: Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together Tuesday and Thursday 1-2 p.m. when specially trained VON staff lead gentle mobility exercises.

After School: Craft Feb. 1, 15 and 22 from 4-4:45 p.m. Gaming Feb. 8, 22.

Games Galore: Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 2-3:30 p.m. Drop in to join friends, play cards and/or board games for an afternoon of fun.

Norwich Book Club: Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky. Bbooks available at the library.

Feature Saturday: Saturday, Feb. 24 Drop in before noon to make a mini canvas tote bag to take home. Free program.

Mismatched Book Club: Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. “Heading to Wonderful” by Robert Goolrick. Books available at the library.
