Home Hardware bantams LL Knighthawks still working hard

Nearing the end of a well played 2017- 18 season for the Norwich Knighthawks Home Hardware bantam LL team and they are still playing hard.

On Feb. 1, Norwich faced Burford. This fast paced game unfortunately ended with a 3-1 loss, but the bantam Knighthawks didn't make it easy for the opposing team.

Feb. 4 the team went to play against Delhi1, and they played hard, with passing, communication, speed,

positioning and a goalie that would not back down the entire game. Goaltender Issac Orth plays hard during every game, even if a couple sneak past. This 6-2 win for the bantam team showed they were there to win. Goals during this game were scored by Nolan Yates, Dylan Nold, Roger Siple, Jayden Horinga (2) and Aiden Simpson, showing when you utilize the entire line you can and will come out on top.

On Feb. 8, Home Hardware bantams faced Langton that resulted in a hard 6-2 loss for Norwich but not without trying hard. Goals scored by Yates followed by Lucas Wright.

Norwich would face Delhi(2) for the final time this season on Feb. 11. Knighthawks’ Justin Sikma put one past Delhi goalie, giving Norwich control for a good portion of the game with a 1-0 lead but unfortunately after a questionable second goal by Delhi and an empty net goal, Norwich would take the hard 3-1 loss.

Norwich Bantams will face Ingersoll, Paris(1) and Paris(2) in their final three games but with continued hard work, positioning, communication, strategic game play by all players, this team can come out on top with some well-deserved wins.
