The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Lisgar Avenue just east of Van Norman Drive in Tillsonburg on Friday, Feb. 16, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

OPP investigators attended the scene of the collision and the 21-year-old pregnant female pedestrian that was involved was transported to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries to her or the unborn baby.

Police are also appealing to an unknown witness who asked the pregnant pedestrian if she was okay but did not remain at the scene to contact the Oxford County OPP.

The involved vehicle left the scene and police are asking for anyone who may have information or may have been in the area of Lisgar Avenue in Tillsonburg to contact the Oxford County OPP.
