Norwich Library has special March programs

Knit 1 Yack 3: Every Tuesday from 12:30-2 p.m. you’re invited to bring your craft projects and socialize in a comfy and inviting environment by the fireplace. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for purchase.

Early On: Every Friday from 9:30-11 a.m., children ages 0-6, with their caregiver, are invited to play and learn in a friendly group setting.

Read With Me: Free reading assistance for school-aged kids. Read to our volunteer Wednesday or Thursday. Space available but limited.

VON SMART: Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together - Tuesday and Thursday 1-2 p.m. Specially trained VON staff will lead gentle mobility exercises.

March Break at the library

Mommy and Kids Science with essential oil: Tuesday, March 13 10:30-11:15 a.m. for children ages 3-12. Join Ashley and her team to learn how plants work, how they provide us with medical benefits and how they can be used in natural healing all through science-based play. Make a take home sample. Free program with sign-up required.

Explore the Floor: Wednesday, March 14 at 3 p.m. for ages 2-8. Explore the various fun stations including play dough, stamping, puppet play, Lego etc. Free program.

Mega Tech Fun: Friday, March 16 at 2 p.m. Ozobots, BB-8, Cubelets, Littlebits, Sphero Mini along with iPads will be here for you to code, build and play with. Free program but let us know you are coming.

St. Patrick Day Program: Saturday, March 17 at 10 a.m. for school-age kids. Join us for games, trivia, crafts based on St. Patrick Day. Registration required, free program.

After School: Craft March 1 and 22; Classic and Electronic Gaming: March 8, 29 from 4-4:45 p.m.

Mismatched Book Club: Wednesday, March 28 at 4 p.m. “Room” by Emma Donoghue, books available at the library.

Norwich Book Club: Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. “The Nightingale” by Kristin Hannah. Books available at the library.

Friday, March 30 the library will be closed for Good Friday.
