OMA leadership resigns amid controversy

A week after weathering a non-confidence vote, the Ontario Medical Association President Virginia Walley and her five executive members resigned on Monday.

Black Lives Matter-Toronto take over Yonge-Dundas

Black Lives Matter-Toronto took to the streets during rush-hour Monday morning, calling for justice for Abdirahman Abdi, who died following an arrest by Ottawa Police in July.

Newstalk 1010 host and Toronto Sun columnist Jerry Agar posted a photo of a printout of a tweet he says is from the account of Yusra Khogali, whom he described as a co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto. The controversial tweet says: “Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz.”
