Merchants win two of three games

It has not been the ideal start for the Norwich Merchants in the early part of the season with the squad only amassing three points in the first six games of the year. They had an opportunity to change that with three games in three nights over the Oct. 14 weekend.

Braves remain in second

The Norwich Merchants lost their lone game last weekend with a 6-4 loss to the Paris Mounties Friday after Paris scored five times on the power play.

Merchants rebound from opening loss

The Norwich Merchants 50th season kicked off in almost perfect fashion after the team's Fan Fest went over extremely positive and the Nor-Del Arena was packed with fans. The only damper was a 5-3 loss to Woodstock in the homer opener.
