On Sunday April 12th, Purple Hill Country Hall 20903 Purple Hill Rd, R1 Thorndale is holding a huge benefit show to support local resident Kathy Gould who was left paralyzed after a fall in December. Kathy is presently at Parkwood Hospital in London. This show starts at 2pm and will feature a multitude of musicians and singers, all supporting Kathy and her family. Artists include one of Canadas best Ricky Nelson tribute artists -Daryl Gratton; Canadian Country Music Hall of Famer Marie Bottrell; Stompin Tom Connors music director and long time friend - Al Widmeyer; Recording artists -Guy Melanson, Eric Shain, Randy Satchell, Curtis Godick, Wendy Lyn Snider, Wally Maggs, Les Holmes, Caroline Burchill, Bob Taylor, Roger Long, Jim Gonder, Scott Bollert, Donnie Bentum, Wanda Ross, Heath Taylor, Scott Taylor and Country 107.3 personality Randy Owen.
